Physical Therapy

After a comprehensive clinical evaluation, an individualized plan of care is developed for each patient. Goals are reviewed on an ongoing basis to ensure that patients are making gains in the areas of life that are most important to them.

Treatment draws on evidence-based approaches for stroke recovery, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, brain injury, and balance disorders, including LSVT-BIG®, PWR!®, and Balance-Based Torso Weighting.

Individual Wellness

Typically following a physical therapy plan of care, clients can choose to continue on their journey of good health and function with a supervised wellness package. The program is tailored specifically to the individual and guided by a highly skilled clinician.

LoveYourBrain Yoga

Our group program is LoveYourBrain Yoga, a national program designed specifically for people living with brain injury and the people who care for them. Sessions pair gentle, fully adaptable yoga with breathing work and group conversation, so you are moving alongside others who understand what you are working through.

No yoga experience is needed and every movement can be done seated. Call us to ask when the next series starts.

Home Care Visits

Some patients have difficulty leaving their home for various reasons. At Synapse, we believe that shouldn't limit their ability to receive expert-led therapy sessions. Please call regarding availability.

Telehealth Appointments

Therapy should be available to as many patients as possible. Whether your health makes clinic visits risky or travel to our locations is too difficult, virtual therapy appointments are very effective in addressing a range of impairments.

Call us and we will walk you through exactly how a telehealth visit works before your first appointment.
